revo or silent armor

I can't decide between the bridgestone dueler a/t revo or the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor. I have a 2005 screw with 18 inch wheels. Anyone running either of these have any advice??? Thanks in advance.

Im running the silent armors and they are one of the best tires iv had. i previously had the BFG ATs on my old rig and these tires perform better all around then then for $400 less. Plus they are dead silent on pavement. Iv only had a chance to drive the revos offroad with my friends rig and while they arnt a bad tire i love the grip the SAs give you. i live in minnesota and i rarely need 4x4 due to the tires always gripping. plus you cant beat the warrenty that good year gives you

i'm running Goodyear w-at-s 275/65r18's on a '05 fx4 with 33k on these tires. I tow a boat and run the Hway to Atlanta about 8x's a year and least two trips to the eastern shore and long island a year chasing the stripers. These tires are looking good for another 35k. IMHO.

I have had REVO 265/67R/17 LTs for a while now and love them. I guess it depends on what you expect from a tire.

Revo is what I would buy. Give me a call if I can price a set for you.

I had the same question last summer but when checking the specs on both of those tires (granted, I was looking at 285/70/17) but not your 18"; the tread depth on the SA's was about 16/32 vs 11/32 on the Revos. But they are also heavier so there are tradeoff's.

Just something else for you to check on...

I went from the factory Generals to 255/70-17 Revos and it was a major improvement. However, my Revos have worn very quickly, and I don't tow or go off-road; almost all city driving.

I have 11k miles on them and they were rotated at after 6k. New they were 13/32" and now they're about 8/32". If that trend continues, that makes them unusable in snow next winter. This is my second winter with them and the grip is definitely not what it was last year. I've been recommending them since I bought them, but now that I've realized how little life they have left in them, I'm not sure if I still can.

I wouldn't have another set of GoodforaYears on my truck on drunken dare! I have had four sets on three trucks and they all sucked. In fact, none of them stayed on long enough to get worn out. I have the REVOs on my truck and have nothing but good things to say about them.

i went from cooper discoverer ASTII to the revos 265/75/16 and i really like the tires. ive had them for about 8 months and r doing fabulous. the only thing i didint like was that they were so much heavier so my performance weakened slightly. just enough to feel the diff. after doing some off roading, racing, and some spinning along with everyday city driving and going back and forth to college the tread has barely worn. they just got smoother. i love them but when it is time for new tires prolly after next year i want to try somethin else just to find the best tire... but they are good.. what is the max psi in the silent armors.. i went from 35 max psi in the cooopers to 80 max in the revos.. of course u dont run that but theres a big difference in weight.. thanks and good luck... TIM

no snow...I travel around 20,000 miles a year. light off-roading through the cane fields and on the way to the hunting camp. During the winter these roads can get sloppy.
