Rim dimension issue!! Please look and post!

Hey Fellas,
I have been reading online here about many f150's that have the 18" OEM rims with the 35 BFG KM2's mounted on them. I have seen pictures as well. But today I found something that is bothering me. The 2005 F150 Lariat 4x4 with 18 rims that I have, have an internal rim width of 7.5". So says the door. The tires state that they require a minimum of a 8.5" and recommend a 9" or above. The local NTB mounting the tires today made me sign the disclaimer on the bead issue. Why have so many guys @F150online been mounting these tires if this is an issue? Or do the FX4 F150's OEM 18" rims have a larger rim width? Am I going to have to worry about the damn tires sliding off the rim?
Please Post your opinion F150 guys with this tire set up.
Oh yea, I do have a front end leveling kit if your wondering.

It will be fine just a liability issue. Nothing to worry about

Thanks for the quick response, but do you guys also get nasty in the mountiains with rims this small in width? I would think this setup wouldn't be great in a rock climbing contest, but I'm more worried about moderate to increased rough terrain when I get up in the hills. I ride an ATV and get into some heavy sh*T when it's raining or snow/ etc. Have you been out in the thick of it with this setup? And have you checked if your FX4 rims have a larger rim width stock?

Actually, you have less chance of blowing a bead because of the narrow wheel. The concern is the tire's tread wearing quicker in the center portion.

I guess I should just keep them balanced and watch the psi, huh?

Do any of the BF 35 KM2 rollers out there have a specific (psi) they're running with their OEM 18" rims to avoid this center line tire wearing early?
Please respond.
PS: I just reflashed with my Xcal3 and set the revolutions as close as I could to the BF goodrich site for these tires. Speedo is as close as I can get it while waiting for Troyer's custom tunes. I guess I can deal with it.

I always use 40 psi as a starting point. I'd think 35 to 40 psi would be good for daily driving.
