BFG A/T or Nitto Terra Grappler?

Which one and why?

I want to know how both perform on the highway as well as off roading.

Thank you everyone.

Both of them are great choices, they will do great in everything but mud. But then they are not designed for that.

yeah I agree both are good tires. I would go with the BFG personally because they look more aggressive, and probly will get you more miles.

Yeah I know they wont be good in mud. I mean I'll be mudding in them, but nothing crazy if you know what I mean. Thanks guys. I'd get mud tires but my truck is gonna be driven to Iowa around September when I'm in the Navy. So kind of a waste to buy M/Ts right now.

I'd go w/ the Terra Grapplers we have the BFG's A/T on a f-250 w/ 4" suspension and they're not aggressive at all

The Terra Grapplers look aggressive but, not as aggressive as the BFG A/T.

Can anyone post pics of their 150 with the BFG A/T and Terra Grapplers I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

yeah everyone definitely is entitled to their opinion, the BFG's are widely considered one of the most aggressive AT's though.....

i dont like bfg's but that just because they are to common so i would go with nitto. this is the first time i have ever heard anything bad about bfg's. but it is an at tire so you cant expect to much off road capability. i am sure you would be happy with either.

Love my nittos. Daily driven and taken off road on occasion. I recently did a little mud slinging, and although they were lacking in traction, I was very surprised with them.

I've ridden in a chebby with a/t's and it wasn't all that impressive to me. Might be cause it wasn't a Ford though.

I agree that there are too many BFG's out there. There's probably a reason why they're one of the highest rated, best selling tire out there though.

Edit: Check my gallery for more/better pics of the tires.

Terra Grapplers are great, less expensive also. I had them on a 97' F150 and put about 20k on them. They wore great, great in rain and snow. The only downside to them is they hold rocks pretty bad. BFG has a good name but were too expensive at the time for me and I found the Nittos for $50 cheaper per tire!
