Tires For and FX4

I have a 2003 F-150 Fx4 I bought this truck used and it already has some stuff done to it. It has rancho shox I know and I think it has leveling kit because it sits higher than my buddies truck. I just bought **** Cepeck 16's. Anyways I wanted to know what are the biggest size tires I could put under it stock or with a 2" leveler kit?

Talking new Plan

I changed my mind about the rims and I gonna take them back and keep my 18s but please help out guys I'm really new. What would be a good size I've heard tales of people putting 35s on their trucks with lil modification?

Hey, where are you in Korea? I was at Osan with the RED HORSE. Anyway, if you don't want to get into too many mods, a 2in level and 33's would work great and would not rob you of much power.

Your best bet is to fit 33s. You don't have to have any lift, just a little trimming. 35s take a little more work and money...

Yeah, you can easily fit 33's on a stock 97-03 4x4.

Are you sure they are 18's? THe 97-03 4x4's came with 16 and 17 inch wheels. Only the Lightning came with 18's and the Harley Editions came with 20's. If you have 17's, I'd suggest a 285/70-17 (33x11.50), 305/65-17 (33x12.50) or a 295/70-17 (34x12.00).

You must have an aftermarket conversion package as the FX4's came with 17x7.5 inch wide wheels. I'd suggest a 285/65-18 (33x11.50) or a 33x12.50-18 tire.

Actually your entirely right my bad for doubting you. I have 17 alloys the year after mine went to 18s.
