New MB Gunner 6 and 35" KM2's

Well, they finally arrived after being on back order at www.discounttiredirect.com for a couple of weeks. Based on the responses from this thread (Here) I decided to go with chrome wheels, and the KM2's after seeing the first few trucks with them on the forums.

Wheels: MB Gunner 6 in 17x8 (5.5" backspacing, 25mm offset)
Tires: 35x12.50 R17 BFG MT KM2

The fit is very tight with just a leveling kit, but there is no rubbing.

One word of caution for those considering 17" wheels...if the tire shop uses stick on weights inside the wheel to balance, do not let them stick them on top of one another. I found out when I first rolled out of the garage that they won't clear the calipers if they stack more than one. I've got about 1/4" of clearance around the inside of the wheel, which is plenty, but it runs out fast with the weights stacked.

looks good ya there sure aint much extra room. how much lift did you get outta the daystar lift?

Nice truck bro ... I have an 04 FX4 Screw as well and am trying to decide on tire size .. I like the 35s a lot

I got just about 2.5" out of the Daystar lift. In fact, I measured the wheelwell heights just before I hung the tires and best I can tell, the fronts are within 1/4" below the rears.

Whered you get those step bars? I want a set like that so bad, they were on Ebay but now I cant find um.... Thanks!

madcat, they are made by N-Fab, and I got them from 4 Wheel Parts. Give them a call, tell them what truck you have, and they will fix you right up. There's also a couple of local (to me) truck accessory stores that could have ordered them for me. If you have any local stores near you, maybe you can try them too.

Go Rhino also has a step bar that looks similar to the N-Fab, I've seen these several places online. Check these out too.

Look's great! Those are the correct spec wheels to run the 35's without rubbing. Good job.

PawPaw, I appreciate the threads you posted with your experiences on the topic. They helped to narrow down the wheel specs to get the right fit.
