Well the only reason I am looking at them is because my buddy has them on his truck, it too is a half ton, and he has the load range D instead of E, and they have been great for him, I like that they are loud, and rough doesn;t really bother me, I am mostly in town driving. And mileage has been good, he has 15,000 on his and is just under 1/2 tread... Any body have any other good stories, or is my buddy the only one with luck on the tires??

thats not really that good considering there are mud tires out there that you can get 40k and even more miles out of......I would assume his wouldn't make it to 30k. Unless you just want a sweet looking tire and don't care about mileage.

Which do you think is a better choice, I know the price of the Toyo is outrageous, but which do you think will have better tread wear??

I'm sure the BFG is an excellent tire, but it's new and there is not a ton of feedback on it. The Toyo MT's are a proven product.
