Now I Am REALLY Confused!!!

I have a 2006 Supercab 2wd.

Original Plan
I am going with a 2.5 Donahoe Racing leveling kit either way, and the original plan was to go with 33/12.50- 20 Mud Grapplers, and some 20X9 XD Hoss'.

Here is the Dilema!!

I have been looking on here and there are a lot of people with a 2.5" leveling kit and 1" aal that are running 35's!! SO, should I stick with the 33's, that I am scared are going to be too small, or should I stuff some 35's under the rig??

Input from people running similar setups or identical setups would be nice!!! Thanks guys, and this site is awesome!!!

Seeing that you have a 2WD, 35's might not work. I think you can get away with it on 4x4's, but not 4x2's.

my guess is you are looking at 4x4's....it's pretty close even on those, you gotta have just the right rim width and backspacing.

Thanks guys!!

And now that I go back and look, most of them are on 4x4's. I am just going to play it safe and go with the 33's.

if you have a 4x2 and plan to use aftermarket wheels, dont even think about 35s. you will need at least a 6" lift for that.

even with just 33s, make sure you watch your backspacing and offset, you could still get some major rubbing, especially since those mud graps have huge side lugs.

Yeah I talked to Wandell and he suggested what backspacing and offset to look for. I found the XD Hoss with +18 offset which someone on here said was roughly 5.75" backspacing. So what do you think about that setup, and FYI the wheels are 20x9.

Thanks again.

I think that would look great with 33's.

I think/hope so about the 33's Wandell!!

I am either going to get the +6= 5.5" backspacing or the +18= 5.71" backspacing. Which one will have a fatter lip??

The less backspacing, the deeper the lip will be and the more the wheel will stick out. In you case I would want 5.5 inches of bs or more.

So probably go with the +18/5.71" like the guy said?? on a 20x9 that should give me about 3" lip right??

Mud Grapplers are loud. Granted they do look bad *** but the Toyo MT's are way better quality and ride comfort. Thats what im going with. And I have the same problem as you. I have 20" Rockstars and I went with 33's just to be safe. I didnt want to deal with any rubbing or having to trim anything.
