00' f150 4x4 Wheel and Tire advice
ive been trolling a while but finally decided to register. I have a stock 00' f150 4x4 ext. cab. what is the lug pattern? what size wheels should I get if im looking to put 33s on it? are 33s too big? wheel suggestions and tire suggestions? looking for practical off road setup. all info is appreciated, thanks
Your bolt pattern is 5x135. 33's will fit on your OE wheels without a problem. If you want to go with a set of aftermarket wheels you'll want them in either 9" wide with a -12 offset or 10" wide with a -25 offset. You will need at least a 12.5" wide tire to go on a 10" wide wheel, though.
I'd suggest going with a 16x10 inch wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing and a set of 305/70-16 (33x12.50) tires. You will have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance. I have some pics in my gallary.
thanks for the advice. im between pro comp xterrains or goodyear mt/r tires, which do you think would be the better tire?
edit - im lookin for black wheels. so far lookin for 5x135 lug patten, 16x10in, and 4.5in(-25) backspacing I have come up with nothing decent. if anyones got some recommendations along those lines lemme know.

THose two tires are pretty close in performance. THe MTR may be slightly better.
For black wheels, I'd check out the Pro Comp and KMC lines. THey have several different black wheels. You can find both on 4Wheel Parts website. Ealge Alloy also has one or two black wheels.

Yes, pretty much. Combined those two numbers will tell you how far the wheel will stick out or tuck in.

ProComp dosn't make that wheel in a 16x10 in the 5x135 bolt pattern. The closest they make is either a 16x8 or a 17x9 in that pattern. Here's the link to the wheel on ProComp's site...sorry dude
