18" Stock 4x2 Lariat

I am sorry if this has been posted a million times...But I am wondering if any one has some advice for me. I have searched all over this site and found similar setups but none that I could use. I have a 2004 Supercab Lariat 4x2 with 18" OEM rims. Right now im running the Stock 265/60/r18 tires and they look like bb's in the wheel well. I want to fill out the wheel well and Im not sure what size I can go up to without rubbing. I have been looking at the following:

285/60/18 Goodyear Fortera Silent Armor

275/65/18 Yokohama Geolander H/T

275/65/18 or 275/70/18 Goodyear Wrangler silent Armor

275/65/18 Firestone Destination A/T

So I was wondering a couple of things:

1) Are those the biggest tires I can fit with no modifications?

2) Does anyone have any experience with these tires

3)Does any one have this set up? and if so do you have pics you would be willing to share with my eyeballs?

Thank you in advance for any help you can give. I will be sure to post any pics in order to help anyone else inquiring about the same issue.

the 285/60R18 will fit fine on the stock 4x2. I actually had very minor rubbing (full lock in reverse getting out of a tight parking spot) with my 285/65R18's on the OEM wheels before the leveling kit.

I agree with SnowmaNick. I have a set of 265/70/17's, 285/60/18's and 295/50/20's. All are mounted on factory wheels with the 17's and 20's having an OA diameter of 31.7" and the 18's having an OA diameter of 31.5".

I just got through putting the 285/60/28's back on. I think they look and perform best of the three.

The 265/70/17's are Goodyear Fortera TripleTreds and will be my winter tires and the 285/60/18's are Bridgestone Alenzas and will be used 9-10 months out of the year.

The 20-inchers have a little too much bling for me (I'm 42 years old but feel 24). I'm sticking with more rubber showing than metal from now on but I did get a lot of compliments on my truck when it was rolling on 20's.

Anybody looking for factory 20" wheels with 295/50/20 General Grabber UHP rubber? I've got a set that are practically new and balanced perfectly. See my ad in the classifieds on this forum if interested.

Was that a shameless plug or not?

I have no idea how to post a link to the add but if you'll click on "Classifieds" at the top of this page and then click on "View The Classifieds" on the next page, scroll to the bottom and enter Add number 28794 and click on "Veiw Add" it will come up.
