backspacing q! (Wandell) *Pic request*

I just want to confirm measurements here so I order the correct BS

Levelling kit for my 4/x4

18x9 rim, using 33x12.50x18 tires.

4.5" backspacing wheels will stick out how much farther than stock wheels?

I want my wide stance, but not over the top.

Anyone have pics of that setup with that BS?

Thanks

Right. A 9 inch wheel with 4.5 inches of bs will stick out 2.5 inches farther than the OEM wheels on the 04-08's.

Hopefully someone chimes in with pics of that setup. I am a little concerned that it sticks out too far maybe.

My buddy has that set up (9 inch rim 4.53 BS) and it looks good, a little farther out then mine but only a bit, thats what my problem is risk issues with a 5.7bs or know they will fit but stick out further with 4.53bs

I believe that the Moto Metal 951's are 9" wide with 4.5" backspacing on their 18" rims. Do a search for them and you should find several pictures.

By the way the 951's also have a 6" BS, there is not much a lip with the 6" BS option though.

Just measuer out 2.5" from the outside edge of your stock wheels...and that is where the edge of the new wheels will be. The 4.5" backspace wheels are made for trucks with lift kits that don't allow the OEM backspacing.
