Do I need bigger brakes for 35" tires
I have 35" tires on my 2005 FX4. Would it be a good idea to put on bigger brakes than stock?

i dont think its worth the money, you should be ok with just 35's. Get drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads.

I felt I needed better brakes for 33s.

If you tow anything of significant weight it would be worth it. I just installed a lift and am running 35's. I plan to upgrade my brakes since I often tow a 22' center console that weighs about 2500lbs.

i have 38" and i tow 7-8K my stock brakes with EBC pads stop me just fine, towing it is all in the brake controler and trailer brakes.

Where's a good place to get those EBCs? I had a brake job done about a year ago and I don't really like the pads. They don't grip very well.
