paint my wheels?

ok so i got my new tires on my stock rims to save some $. Im going to powder coat them black in the future but not for sometime. I hate chrome on trucks and I sont like the color of my stocks either, so should i just spray paint my rims with flat black primer in the meantime? if so anyone suggest a paint to stick to the stock wheel?

I would just spray them. I wouldn't waste the money to powder coat them. I'd buy a set of 17" XLT rims on ebay or craigs list for next to nothing and powder coat those. They look so much better.

Why not print out the picture and color in the wheels to the color you want before you paint a color you don't like. On your truck i agree the stock color looks out of place but I also think black would be too dark. I would be looking for the same as the truck.

OK, don't like the body color on the wheels! Satin black would be my next try.

So i went with a knight black metallic its darker then my body but lighter then black. I just sparyed the first coat and it looks tight so far. Ill post a pic once i get it mounted back on. Oh yeah and keith_bennett If you have a show truck chrome is cool and more power to ya but i just think it looks out of place on a truck thats in dirt alot, Im not trying to knock yout truck or anything, I was just saying i think chrome is for shows or cars.

hey sacul i have a 6" fabtech with 295/70/17 its about 34.5x12, i dont like a stuffed wheel well so thats y there not so talll. I would not suggest a 3" front because they are know to give problems with the control arm angle. Id recommend a 2" and add a leaf and im pretty sure 33s will fit with out trim. some one correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure.
