Would these wheels be tacky???

I really dig the American Racing Razor Six wheels. But I was going to go for the anthracite.

For some reason, even though they are in the F-150 bolt pattern, they have Shelby on them. I e-mailed AR to see if there was any way possible to get the anthracite without Shelby and it is not.

Would it be tacky to run a wheel that says Shelby on it?? The little voice in my head says it has poser written all over it. But it is really hard to find a nice gunmetal or anthracite wheel.

Shelby is still Ford, so I would go for it. Those rims are very nice, and I would not think poser just because of a little tag in the middle. Very nice rims would look great on a pickup! Anyone else have an oppinon on this one??

What color truck would these go on? I prefer chrome/polished but I like those wheels! They look nice.

Those must be new? Just ran over to the AR website, looks like they only make them for the Ford trucks and SUV's (makes sense - Shelby). I see they have them in silver, black, the color you posted and chrome. I really like them. I was really digging the silver ones ( I am not much for chrome or all polished). I've been looking for a painted wheel (black or silver) with a polished lip, but I haven't seen anything in my price range that I really liked........untill now....maybe? I need to see them on a truck......so get them, put them on, and post some pics. Are you looking at the 20's or 22's?

mgsalida: They will be going on a Shadow Gray. That is the main reason I am looking for a gunmetal or anthracite. Not a fan of the bling bling chrome or black wheels. So I am looking for one of those colors or polished.

MosineeFX4: I'm going for 20" but it won't be until next year at tax time. We are in the process of doing home improvments and building a garage. No extra cash at this time.

Nice!!

those would look great in 20s! i think the silver or anthracite (sp?) finish would be sweet on shadow grey. I have to agree that "shelby" is keeping it in the ford family, therefore not cheese**** @ all. the polished lip is important in making painted wheels stand out (IMO).

I really like those rims and wouldn't worry at all about that little emblem in the center. Go for it
