Having vibrations with the stock 20's??

I am having vibrations with my stock 20's and i keep bringing it back to the dealer and they re-index the tires but the vibration is still there? So my questions are, is anyone else having vibrations at 65-75 mph's? And, what do they do when they index a tire? I have had that done like three times so I want to make sure that they arent taking away from the life of my tires?

Make sure you check the air pressure in the tires. I had some vibrations and found out my 1 front tire was low. Added air and it was good.

I'd also make sure that you don't have a bad tire that's causing the problem. The only other thing is some members have stated that they actually had a drive shaft that was causing the problem. Just some other things to think about?

Driveshafts have caused some problems. I'd check the wheels, make sure they are true. Check the tires, make sure they aren't too out of round or have belt separation.

When I took delivery of my truck, it had 2 bad tires and 1 bad wheel.

I have taken my truck in to the Ford dealership a bunch of times and they have replaced one tire and it truly made a difference. but its still there, so i think that there are more tires that are bad but they wont replace them. they said "ford" has requirements that have to be met to replace a tire and as long as those tires are inbetween those guidelines they cant replace my tires? Its a brand new truck with only 8,000 miles on it. Just getting really frustrated!!!!!

Then I would bypass your dealer and go directly to Ford and inform them that you want to have this issue looked into. Especially since your truck is so new.

Thats EXACTLY the information that I needed to hear. How do I get intouch with Ford directly to inform them about the situation? Do I go to ford.com or do you know of a direct way to talk with them???

You can always ask the service manager at your dealership for the contact person for your region. If they do not help, go to ford.com and see if you can find a number and call customer service. Stay on them! Don't back down until you are satisfied. Good luck and let us know what happens.

If you look in your vehicle's manual, you will find a toll free number for Ford customer service. I can't remember if its in the front or back, but its in there. Call that number and inform them of your issue, they will then send your concerns to a customer service rep in your area.

I emailed customer service and they basically sent me a cookie cutter email saying how they value my business......yada.....yada....yada! But they did nothing for my issue. So i am going to video tape the issue while I am driving, Well.....the wife is going to video tape it! And then talk to some more people until I get this taken care or! Thanks for your help guys and I hope I can get this taken care of
