Robby Gordon Wheels?? Where To Buy & What Do You Guys Think???

Well.......I'm thinking about getting rid of my rims and tires. 1, to get some bigger rims and 2 just to get rid of mine. They look nice, but I think polished wheels suck, too much upkeep, and with the beadlocks, they are a pain in the a** to clean. I've always like the robby gordon wheels..what do you guys think??? I've only seen them in polished, which they are a different style then mine and I think would be easier to clean or polish and after searching recently I saw them in black which really caught my eye....they had a chrome center cap and stainless bolts on the lip. How do you guys think they would look on my truck??? I still wouldn't mind having the high polished ones either. Not too sure how black would look???

They seem to be pricey, around $300 from what I've found, but there doesn't seem to be to many places that have them.. Anyone know any places with good prices??? Also, was thinking about 18's, but it seems that most tires in 18's only come in 285/60/18. What size is this really??? I have 35's on it now and wanted to stay that size....I guess...???....no bigger. I was thinking of these tires.

Sorry for the long post....Thanks guys.

I have them on my truck, but bought the truck used so I can't help you on where to get them. However I do have the polished ones and they are fairly easy to clean and just a simple spray on cleaner will work great on the wheels.

What kind of offset would you recommend with a 17x8 wheel???? to have them stick out a little farther, but not too much.. Do they make a 34 inch tire??? what size would that be??? I was thinking of 17's or 18's with a 33 inch tire, but didn't know if that would be too small of a tire with a 6 inch lift??? thanks

I'd stick with 4.5 inches of backspacing, which is what the stock wheels have, with a 35 inch tire. THe only two 34 inch tires I know of are the 305/70-17 (34x12.50) Goodyear MTR's and Maxis Buckshot Mudder.

robby gordon wheels were my second choice .they are 17x8 with 3 7/8 backspacing, the only backspacing available. the come in black, chrome, and the natural finish. his shop is in orange county and i know you can get them through 4wheel parts. at his shop you can get a 10% discount flyer. hope this helps

Thanks for the compliments. On my truck I have a 8" CST lift and 37" Discoverer Coopers with the 17" Robby Gordons. They will stick out quite a bit more than stock (enough to get a mud-flap ticket).

Hey dirk, where did you say to look???? I saw them on 4wheelonline, but not 4wheelparts. 4wheelonline had them, but no sizes or prices. Where else did you say?? Robbygordon.com???? I couldn't find them on there. Thanks.

america's tire[discount tire] in california could get them for me. they are made by ultra wheels for him. his website is a joke. you can also call his off road store and order them directly. i have never seen his wheels any cheaper than $299.99. in the 17s they only come in 17x8 with 3 7/8 backspacing. the backspacing is the only reason why i didn't buy them, and i bought the walker evans wheel instead...
