22" HD Wheels

What do you guys think of the chrome looking polished 22inch HD wheels on a 06 FX4 with stock height. I definitely want to get 22's, but I don't want that ghetto-ish type look. I've seen alot of decent 22's with 305/40 tires where the HD's have 275/45 or so. So which tires would look better also? I can get a good deal on the HD's, $1400 with new tires, all factory with center caps and lugs.

Personally, I wouldn't do it unless you at the very least lowered the rear and ran a 305/45-22 tire.

That's exactly what I was thinking with those tires. I'm glad you responded, thanks Wandell! The 275/40's are what lower profile, less sidewall?

Right. You are basically talking about a 33 inch tall tire with the 305/45-22's. That will help fill up the wheelwells and give the illusion that the truck is lower.

It's not my style, but if you like it - do it.

put 600lbs of sand bags right behind the tailgate... or you can take out part of the a-leaf
