Will they fit?

I just put on a 2.5" leveling kit on my 06 4x4 Screw and am buying new wheels and tires. I want to get either the 305/65/17 Pro Comps xtreme AT's or the 295/70/17 Toyo Muds. They will be on 17x9 Pro Comp wheels with 4.75 backspacing. I know this will stick my tires out more then factory and thats what I want. Will I have any rubbing issues? And can anyone tell be how much further the tires will stick out from the factory ones. If either of these tires will rub would I be better off with a set of 285/70/17 BFG Muds thats are only 11.5 wide? Thanks..........

Was your factory wheels 17"? I've read where others have went from a 18" OEM down to a 17" and had problems with the wheel rubbing the brake caliper.

No my factory wheels are 17". I was concerned about the fact that the factory wheels are 7.5 wide and the tires are 10.5" wide and now I want to go to 9" wide wheels and 12.5" wide tires.

With a 2.5" leveling kit you should be able to fit a 33" tire diameter by 12.5" wide tire with no problems on a 9" rim. The only concern may be the backspace of 4.75. Most of the setup's I've seen have been around 5" backspace. Probably okay, at most may need to trim a little plastic.

They will fit but you will have more room with the 295's if you take it offroad. I'm running 285's and have lot's of room. Your tires will stick out a little past the wheelwells.

A 9 inch wide wheel with 4.75 inches of backspacing will stick out 2 1/4 inches farther than the OEM wheels. I think you will be fine, but you may have to trim a little.
