how big of a tire can i get on my stock f150
whats up, i have a 2000 f150 XLT extended cab short bed 4x4. my truck is stock with 17in rims and 31in tires. i just bought 16x8 rims and need to get tires. i would like to fit a 33in but i don't want to lift or have any problems with rubbing.(i am thinking like 285/75RR16)
does anyone know if this will work or shoud i get 32s.
the tires i am thinking are the mikky toms radial or the bfg a/t.
thanks a lot for your help!!!!!!!!!

i got my f150 6 months ago and am slowly hooking it up.
i found this sight a week ago and i love the advise u get.
I'm also getting some 16x8 rims and new tires on my 2000 4x4. I'm leaning towards the 295/75/16 BFG A/Ts. 02sport4x4, it looks like this is the set-up you're going with soon?
The only thing I'm concerned with is if it will look like too much sidewall with only 16s. Does anyone have pics of 33" or 34" tires on a 16 inch rim? Thanks, and good luck to you guys with your new set-ups.

Yeah my tires are at home, just waiting for my wheels, I have the 305's on my truck right now on 16" rims, so if you check my gallery just search for it cause I don't know how to post the link, you will see how it looks, personally I like a lot of sidewall, compared to none, plus the more sidewall generally the better they ride, but it's my personal preference
