Will They Fit?????
I HAVE A 2004 FX4 AND IT CURRENTLY HAS NITTO'S 325/65/18. I AM GETTING RIMS THIS WEEK AND HAVE ONE ALREADY HERE BUT I NEED TO KNOW A FITMENT QUESTION. THE RIM IS A 18X10 AND HAS 4.5" OF BACKSPACING, WILL THIS FIT??????? WILL IT CAUSE MAJOR RUBBING OR TRIMABLE RUBBING.

I dont know much about wheels/tires, but Im looking into getting the exact tires you have on your FX4 and was wondering if you could post some pics of them on the stock wheels before you put your new ones on. Im sure wandell will be able to help you out, but from what ive read around here i beleive there is some trimming.
Is your suspension stock? Leveling kit? Lifted 6"+ ? 4x4 or 4x2 ?
If your stock or just have a Leveling kit on your truck than you are going to rub badly with a 10"wide rim and 4.5" of backspacing.

my truck is stock right now and is perfectly level, but I do have plans for a spacer in front and a shorter shackle to lift it around 2 1/2". But rite now she is very close to level off by 3/4"
I am interested in knowing what backspacing is needed to fit these tires also. I have them on my stock FX4 wheels and will soon have a 6" lift and better wheels.

To use a 325/65-18 on an 18x10 inch wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing you are gonna need a 6 inch suspension lift. You would still probably have to do some trimming because of the wide wheels and the backspacing.
Hey Guys, those rims and tires will not clear without some major trimming and maybe even a little pounding on the back of the front fender well. They also would stick out wayyyyyyy too far, more then half the tire would be out of the fender well in the front. I have the same tires on 18x9" rims with 5" of B/S and they rubbed really bad with a 2 1/2" leveling kit. They only way they clear now is with a 4" Rancho lift, even then I had to trim the front valance. A safer bet is 5.5-6" of B/S or the OEM rims. Have a look at Tonka's gallery, he is running rims with the nitto's that clear with minor trimming. There are also few other member that are running these tires on OEM rims, again with minor trimming. Do a search for nitto terra grapplers and you will find what you are looking for.
