18" wheel with OEM backspacing

Well I have 325/65/18 tires on my stock FX4 wheels. It looks great but on a full turn there is rubbing of the upper control arm. Can anyone tell me what backspacing I need thats AS CLOSE to OEM BUT still keeps the tire AWAY from the upper control arm. Hopefully that made sense. Basically one or two points up or down on the backspacing.

Your OEM wheels have 5.5 inches of backspacing and are 7.5 inches wide. If you go to a wider aftermarket wheel with the same backspacing, that will stretch the tire outward a little bit and that may be enough to solve the problem. Is it serious rubbing or is the tire just barely touching? Could you take a pic?

Wandell I could get you a pic, but more than likely tommorow. I believe it to be serious rubbing even though you cant hear it. Theres a perfect circle outlining on the tire where it is rubbing. I just ordered some 1.5" wheel spacers from the supposed BEST in the business when it comes to that and we will see how that goes. I dont offroad so it should be all good.

Hopefully, it will work out. I'd like to see a pic. I'm sure others are curious too.

I can forsee the rubbing burning through the tire. Rendering two tire useless.

SO, YOU PUT 325/65'S ON STOCK RIMS W/O A LEVELLING KIT?? OUCH... DIDN'T EVEN THINK THEY WOULD FIT UNDER THERE. I HAVE A 2.5" ANY I AM STILL DEBATING ON THAT SIZE TIRE FOR FEAR OF TOO MUCH RUBBING. AFTER YOUR KIT INSTALL DROP SOME FEEDBACK... YOU MAY BE THE DETERMINING FACTOR IN BUYING TIRES THAT SIZE. THANKS.

Im thinking he means wheel spacers like to push the wheel/tire out farther. Ive heard thats a bad idea though, from what little bit about those i have read around here.

Most people talk without ever owning any wheel spacers. If you buy cheap crap, your going to get cheap results. I have a Skyjacker 3" lift on my truck. This isnt a lift problem. The tires fit fine, problem is they are too wide and rub on the upper control arm.
