minor rub

I am very new, this is actually my first post. But I have experience when it comes to 4x4 trucks. The NITTO's are very good tires and will work on your truck stock if your truck came with the rubber insulator that comes on most FX4's and hlf of the stock 4x4's. If you want to go with a aftermarket rim try to get on that is 4.75 backspacing and you will have no rubbing on the upper control arm or frame. I have seen and tryed both on my truck

Was it a true 35" after you mounted them on your stock wheels? And pics? Also 325/65/18 is a 35x13.5x18 and then you can get 35x12.5x18 right? Just wanna clear that up.

Offset is the biggest concern.

The Company that Tonka purchased the wheels from does extensive testing to insure that the wheels will work. DTC has several wheels that are a 18-20 mm possitive offset that work great. The tire is oversized for the application but with some care,( don't hammer it offroad with suspension articulation) it will work. To see the current styles available go to tires.com.

Tonka, I would like to see pictures of the trimmed area too. I just ordered the same tires Tonka has excpet they are on Eagle 186's and they do not clear , even with a 2 1/2" leveling kit. It really hangs up on the fender well where the flare comes down-almost yanked the whole flare off. I trimmed the valance and that cleared up it catching on the front-it is back that is the bugger. This is on an 06' FX4.

(Tonka, I forgot about this thread before I emailed you)

You are making me wonder if they are going to fit my truck, I have a 06'Lariat 4X4 which I think rides a little lower than the FX4 package. Does anybody have 325/65 R18's on a regular 4x4 with just a 2.5 leveling kit?
