Opinions please......

Want to get bigger tires for this truck:

These are the stock 18" rims:

These are the 17's i'm thinking about:

If I keep the factory chrome 18's i'll go with BFG Mud terrains in 35x12.5 18 and if I go to the 17's i'll get Goodyear MT/R in 305/70 17 (34x12). I'm running a 2" AS in the front and know they'll fit but not many options for 18" that interest me if I stay with factory rims. I have a Jeep Scrambler with 40's on it for off roading so this truck is strictly a street machine, so rubbing off road not a concern. I think I would just like to replace factory tires with 35's and call it a day but.......cant make up my mind. As far as paying for them i'll just buy the 17" tires and sell my factory wheels and tires to pay for the new rims or I just buy tires and mount them on the wheels I have. Thoughts?

Me personally, I like the rims you have alot, would put a 315/70/18 tire or so on that. It looks like you have the leveling kit, so fill the wheel wells up. Good choice on 17" rim, but look around especially in the show me your wheels threads on here. I am going with the Wrangler MT/R too, a 305/70/17 and hear nothing but good considering it's a mud tire so again kudos on that one.

MTR's are nice, had them on my Bronco, however, they seem to wear pretty fast on heavy trucks.

I have BFG's MT's on my Expy and so far they have been wearing great.

I think your stock rims look good.

Just my 02 cents

Keep your wheels, looks pretty good already, just needs a more aggressive tire in there.

Here's a pic of my 200 F150 with wheels similar to the ultras, maybe this will give you an idea how they look.

I personally am not a real big fan of those Rims, And I also think that 35's on stock rims looks pretty sweet!

Here is a pic of that setup I found on ftw.

I think you should keep your wheels, but if you do get new wheels DON'T get the ultras. I think their ugly... besides everyone has wheels similar to those.

Your stock wheels look pretty good, I would not spend the money for those 17s. How about some 20's? They are getting cheap. I got a new set of 20x10 in chrome for $600.
