When I had load range E tires, I ran them at 50 and got good tire wear.

Correct pressure is stamped on the sidewall of the tire

That is not the correct pressure to use. That is the max. In this case probably 80.

Well with the load range E's I had they were a max of 80. That is was I was assuming was the max. Being the max on these are 65, I would run at around 45 and go from there. Max on load range D is 65 and that is what I use for those. I use 40 for my Load range C tires. I do think 40 is low for a load range E.

From: ....I could be anywhere....
it should tell you what the psi. should be cold on the tire itself
check them in the AM before you go anywhere....

and adjust accordingly

...zap!

The correct pressure is stamped in the tire. In your case 65psi. That is the manufacturers recommendation. The max they refer to is the load carried by each tire, not the tire pressure.

I run my fronts at 47 and rear at 52 for the same size. Over 50 in the front make the ride harsher in my opinion.
