Caliper Clatter!
I realize that the calipers are designed to float, but my rear calipers make a racket going down the road. I tighten the 2 caliper bolts, but there a lot of play left. Is there some way to tighten these up a little more to keep the rattle at bay?
The calipers themselves are loose... I tighten the bolts all the way and the calipers can still rattle within the bracket. I can move them quite a bit with my hand... and not just in / out. They move a good bit all around.
I've looked and can't find anything else that looks loose enough to rattle going down the road. I only notice this when driving slowly down the street. I have a couple small bumps (more like cracks) that it always happens on. If I have just the slightest pressure on the brakes I don't have the rattle. Now that I'm typing this I'm wondering what will happen if I have the parking break set a lil and go over these bumps. I'll try that tonight going home.

First check the TSB's to be sure the factory has not addressed this issue.
I had a similar issue on a '91 Dodge Spirit R/T. It did get on my nerves. I wound up finding an anti-rattle spring off of a different Dodge and fitting it to my car. Basically it was a spring that mounted to the caliper mount and pushed the pads against the mount on the opposite side. The pads loaded between parallel slides, and the calipers floated in on pins/bushings. Is that how yours is set up?
