Which one would you go with

Alright I am getting my AS 2.5" leveling kit installed this weekend and am doing some research on some new tires. Gonna stick with the stock 18" wheels for now. I have picked 2 tires that I really like (I also like the BF Goodrich AT's, but can't seem to find them in a 33"). Here's the 2 tires I am trying to decide on now. They are roughly the same price, the Nitto's are less than $100 more, so no big deal. Both tires are 325/60R18.

Most of you guys have owned your trucks longer than I have and probably have some experience with one or the other so I know I will probably get some honest feedback. Thanks in advance.

Pro Comp Xtreme AT

I like the pro-comp more, but if you will be doing minimal off-roading, go with the Nitto.

The Nitto Terra Grappler has proven to be one of the best all terrian tires available. The Pro Comp Xtreme AT is a very new tire, but it is getting good reviews so far. Also the 285.65-18 BFG AT KO is essentially a 33x11.50-18 tire.

I like the pro comp xtreme at's, but you can't go wrong with either one. Good luck with your choice.

Think I'm going to have to go with either the Nitto Terra Grapplers or BFG AT KO. I relooked at the Pro Comp and they are a tad too big I think. Per the Truck Add Ons website the 325/60R18's are actually 33X13.5 which I think is probably too much for the stock 7.5" rims. I think the Terra Grapplers at almost 13" is pushing it also so I may just go with the BFG's and feel a little more comfortable.

Unless there is anyone here that would like to sell me some cheap aftermarket 9.5" rims.

you can acutually fit a BFG MT 35x12.50x18 on the stock rim with a leveling kit. I ran mine that way before getting a suspension lift.

Unfortunately mine is only a 4X2 so a 35" wheel will not fit it unless I go the suspension lift route. Your truck looks awesome with that setup though.

BFG's

I have the 285/65-18 BFG AT/KO on my 2004 FX4. Hate em. Can't stand them. They WILL NOT balance (road forced them as well). They vibrate so bad at 63mph that I think my bed is going to rip off. I probably won't buy another set of BFG's for a while, although this is the first bad set I have had. I have had BFG AT's on every 4x4 I've ever owned (15"/16") but this is the first set that disappointed me. (and they were also the most expensive).

Just goes to show you, every company can produce a lemon. Sorry you got a bad set of BFG's. Wouldn't the dealer exchange them for another set?
