Another height and rim/tire question.

Hey guys maybe you can help. First question is, is the stock height of a 04 4x4 f150 the same as a 04 2x4. Second question is I am looking at some Helo Maxx 6 17x9 and wanting to wrap them in 315/70/17 BF Goodrich AT on my 04 2x4 F150. I allready have a leveling kit and am hoping they will fit. I have seen 315/70/17s on a 4x4 with very minimal rubbing. Thanks for the help in advance.

A 4x4 is about 2 inches taller. You're gonna need more lift to fit 35's. A 3 inch body lift would give you enough room.

Hey thanks for the help. I might try 305/65/17 pro Comps then.

Tire sizes are always rounded up to the next whole number. I doubt you will be able to find a 35x12.50 that is exactly 35 inches tall. Most "35's" are around 34 1/2 to 34 3/4 inches tall.

Ahh I see. I have to admit I am new to these tires. I have always delt with low profile tires.

just had to trim a little bit of plastic in the back of the front fenderwell, pretty much took off about 3 inches of that black rubber linning ontop of the fenderwell and i have no rubbing at all. the tires are sick, absolutely amazing, they ride quiete, and pull in the dirt and mud so good, better then BFG MT do, they are pretty much exacly the same as the toyos but made to take a little more abuse i think.
