The best value is probably the Nitto Terra Grapplers. Not only are they one of the best all terrian tires available, they are less expensive than the equally excellent BFG AT KO's. Remember, with tires you tend to get what you pay for. Sometimes a cheap tire is just that, cheap. You are right in looking for the best value, not just the lowest price.

Said something about the makeup of the tire being lighter performance wise compared to the Nitto. Just like Wandel said you pay for what you get. Said all the way around it was a good tire. I've bought alot of rims and tires from Discount Tire I trust what those guys say. I kinda trust the name BFG a little more then Nitto.

BFG > Kuhmo simply because I can't get Kuhmo MT's for a 17 inch rim.

I would think about how I was going to actualy use the tires and what I expected from them. We all drive under different conditions, I don't think my off road Revo's would make Neal verry happy. Some drive 99% freeway, some only care about looks.
There is, in my opinion, not a "best bang for the buck" tire.

i like my nitto's alot, granted the BFG's look better the price of the terra grapplers outweighed that imo. Also i didn't really like the BFG's in slushy wet snow conditions, don't know how the nitto's do just yet.
