I will be installing a set of these whenever my local truck shop gets them in stock. Should be in a few days. I'll post pics when it's done.

Nitto's 295-70/17

Yes, I have them, but not on stock rims. I have the 8200 GVWR and the stock rims are just gray steel, so I got new rims (That were next to impossible to get as well!)

You can see pics in my gallery see the following link.

Nitto's

I will measure them tonight, I will tell you I have a 2" lelveing kit installed, and the tires are suppossed to be about 33.25"

As you can see from the pics they fill in really good without crowding things.

As for tire wear, they are doing pretty good so far (About 5,000 miles) but I also rotate every 3 to 5 thousand as well, and I also have a matching spare that I rotate in to the order.

those 295's are only 3/8 an inch taller and will make your truck sit only 3/16 inch higher. not much a differance. I too have wandered about wear and performance differances and have heard mixed reviews on both tires.

Tire Measurments

I stopped at Lunch and ran a tape across the tires. From front to back I actually measure the 33-1/4", now top to bottom (Front Tire) due to weight of truck I have lost about 1" so Tire diameter is actuallt what it is expected to be for the 295-70/17 33-1/4"

Hope that this helps

David

nope, still haven't put them on. Those tires are damn near impossible to find down here in Texas. I have been on a waiting list for a couple of weeks now and still no luck. I will post pics as soon as I have them installed, if that ever happens.
