Thumbs up X-Terrains installed

Just got em put on and they're some mean lookin son of a guns. Pictures did'nt do em justice. I got the 285/75/16's installed on my 97 with a 2 inch lift. Perfect size for the truck right now.
Anyone who has these, how do they perform in different types of conditions? I'm assuming they perform great in the mud, but was curious how they did on rainy pavement and snow. Guess, I'll find out... thanks

The are very good in snow and wet pavement. An all around great tire. I wont be getting a 2nd pair however. Not being able to rotate them properly without dismounting them from the rim is a PITA! Also, I have about 20k and they still have a lot of tread left but on certain highway surfaces, they can be noisy as hell. almost cant hold a conversation while doing 70. but then it goes away if the road surface changes. My next set I will try the Nitto terra grapplers!

I have 30k on mine, and they still are the best tire I've every had on a truck. Sure footed in all weather conditions. Just a minute, and I'll to a tread check. They are at 9/32 now. I've rotated them every 6k, and I'm due for a rotation in June. Back tires go straight to the front, and fronts cross over to the back. I'll also have the two going to the front ballanced.

greencrew.... correct me if I'm wrong, but since the x-terrains are directional tires, you can't cross the fronts when you rotate them to the back unless you have the tire remounted on the rim.... right?

It's possible I understood wrong??? I have Michelin Cross Terrain. That's what I though X-terrain was short for.

My tires are not directional. Which tire is directional?

Right, the Pro Comp X Terrian and new X Terrian AT are directional tires.
