Nitto Terra-Grappler

Does anyone have any opinions about the Nitto Terra-Grapplers?

They look like they would be impressive tires on-road and off. Im also wondering how they hold up in the snow.

Thanks, Jon

They are an excellent all terrian tire. In fact they are one of the best AT's on the market along with the BFG AT KO, Toyo Open Country AT and Bridgestone Dueler AT's (and AT Revo).

the LT295/70R17D1 will fit my Fx4 wheels and should have just enough room to fit the tire, right?

it equals a 33.19" diameter and 12.13" width

Right. I've seen a 4x4 with the 295's on the stock FX4 wheels and it looked pretty darn good.

No problem on 33" tires.

I've installed 35" tires on my 04 F-150 and have no problems. I did install the Revtek 4" front leveling kit. Good luck!!

I just read your post again.... what year is your truck? People are amazed the 04 will handle the 35" tires with only the front leveling kit.

It's a 2003.

Is there anything I need to do to get these to fit? Like adjusting the torsion bar or anything?

PS.Old picture in the sig

I'm not 100%...

I'm not 100%, but I think 33" tires will fit fine. Is there a front leveling kit available for the 03? Check Revtek and see what they offer.

Good Luck.....

I'm kind of stuck. I went in to have the 4" Rancho suspension kit installed and they couldn't do it. The Weld wheels have a 6.3" offset and the MAX for the Rancho kit is 6". It sucks!! I'm looking into other possible options. I don't want to sell the Weld wheels.

33's!

They're on! And they fit perfectly. Although, the fronts were rubbing the "mudflaps" so I trimmed them, but it was no big deal.

My truck is a little dirty in the picture, but it looks awesome with the new tires...

New to the list-good stuff!

Glad to hear good feedback on the Nitto's too. Just bought used 04 SCrew FX4 that had dealer-installed 325/60 18's on the stock wheel. It looks absolutely great and only rubs a tad when not on level ground and maxing a turn.

The truck has no lift, but I think the leveling thing is something I'll do later.

Does anyone know the correction formula to calculate fuel mileage? I need to read more to learn about this. Thanks
