Question Rims for my 99 F150

Does any one know where to get some nice chrome rims for my F150 at a reasonable price? I have the stock 16's on there now and I would like to keep the same size rim. Any help would be great! Thanks as always- Andrew

I would check at www.4wheelparts.com They have some pretty good deals. If you are looking for tires too they have package deals, and they said that if they don't list the package you want they'll put one together for you.

My 2 cents worth

If you're gonna stroke it, POWERSTROKE IT!!!

Howdy!

LOL FFAJC. Define "reasonable". Reasonable to Bill Gates may mean more than we make in a year..

I just went to Discount Tires Co. and got a quote then negotiated a price.

I'm also curious. Same size width or diameter? I don't recommend getting the same size if you're after looks. Bigger is better.. (larger footprint) and looks better too.

------------------
My ride:

Basics:
- '99 XLT F-150

Under hood and back:
- Ram air (Don't ask me how )
- AiRaid intake
- Flowmaster DF 50 Series
- 24x3.5" Stainless steel slashed tips (Yes! Solid polished SS, no cheesy chrome-plated)
...

Outside:
- Precision polished billet grille and plate holders
- American Racing 17x8s polished Pythons (Flushed front AND back)
- Goodyear.. something tires (Expensive is all I know. LOL. No Firestone firecrackers for me either)
- Rhino liner
- Ford nerf bars
- Ford bed rails
...

Inside:
- My girlfriend!
...

Fun stuff:
- Dual sirens Black Widow alarm system/keyless entry (Enough decibels to go deaf in a garage )
- Custom driving lights (Just a cool blue)
- 2 High-Watt lights behind grille (For people who cut me off )
- Dual horns (For people who, again, cut me off)
- Dual wheel locks (So I won't be driving home on bricks!)
- Spare wheel lock (So I won't have to use a brick as a spare )
...

Best of all:
- Texas A&M University aTm front plate! Gig'em Aggies!!

FFJAC,
Contrary to some others opinions, Bigger may be sharper to some -- but worse mileage, speedometer/odometer being less than accurate are important to me as well. I went as close to my OE size as I could and I (the most important opinion) think my truck looks sharp as hell!! I replaced my OE p255/70's with LT245/65's. I found a dealer for wheels on Ebay who deals in new take offs. He sent me a set of the 5 spoke cast aluminum (he had all the OE styles) for 245 inc shipping. I sold my stock "polished alloys" to a friend who had the plain steel -- he was happy as heck!
I will try and find the the persons name who sold mine to me. He was in Florida and he also told me he can sell cheaper if he does not go thru Ebay -- If I find his addy -- I'll post it here. Good luck -- and go with what YOU think looks best -- IT IS YOUR TRUCK!!

Honeycomb grille painted to match truck, Gold front valance and rear bumper covers (both from Eddie Bauer
Expys)
