Question Tire Size with no Lift

What is the biggest tire size that I can put on without a lift or rubbing? I have a 2001 supercrew 4x4 w/ 255-75-16 (I think).

33" with no suspension mods, or 34-35" if you crank the torsion bar and trim some plastic in the wheel well. Mine work out to 32.7" and you can click on my WWW to see them. For the stock 16" rim, I believe some people have fit 315/75R16 tires on them.

You can run a 285/75-16 (33x11.50) or a 305/70-16 (33x12.50) on stock 4x4. If you plan on keeping your stock 16x7 inch rims, I'd go with the 285's. If you think you may purchase some 8 or 10 inch wide aftermarket rims later on, I'd go with the 305's. Both will work with the stock rims, but the 305's are a little too wide and this will make the center portion of the tread wear a little faster.
