Question 2004 F150 wheels ???????????

Well it looks like all the aftermarket wheel companies are a little slow to manufacture wheels for the 2004 F150. Does anybody have a list or know of any wheel manufactures that have or will be releasing wheels ?????

PSI

Recently purchase Revo's (LT265/75R/16) for my 2001 F150 SC / XLT/ Std 4.2 and so far it's been a worthwhile investment. Do need some advice...have not been able to get a straight answer on a proper tire pressure for just overall driving (20% off-road). Mostly commute miles to work. Firestone indicated 32psi all the way around but was also told 36psi would be better for wear. Thanks

Is it just me, or do the previous two posts have nearly nothing in common?

Anyway, lightningfast, I am also stumped as to why the aftermarket wheel makers are so slow to get up to speed with the 2004's. There certainly are plenty of us looking for wheels. My Lariats' wheels are putting me to sleep........:o

Thumbs up 6x135 Ready to go

Coddington Wheels have availability for the new 04 wheel pattern. I have spoken to Centerline, and their new line of Turbo Forged is available for the new 04 pattern. I am going to by a set of the Centerline Tomcats. 20" x 8.5 is under $200 per wheel. Good price and warranty. Pictures are readily available on the web site.

Wheels

I had a set of Panther Realms on my 2004 F-150, they were stolen a few weeks ago unfortunately. I had wheel locks but they got into the truck and found the key. My insurance company gave me money to get a new set, but the whole country seems to be out of them right now, so im impatiently waiting while they are back ordered. Other wheels the guy i got mine from has tried to sell me are the Akuza Blade, Panther Element, and Diamo 5 Karat, but i'd rather wait on my realms. There are pics of them with Goodyear Fortera's at: www.EarthwoodCabinet.com/Kenny.htm

Let me know what you think

I'm not sure what size Rim's you have. ( i have the 18 inch rims) but BFG came out with their mud terrains in 35x12.5x18. I just ordered mine. They are about 270 a pop. I also just installed the 2.5" spring extenders for the front so the tires will fit just fine. My local 4 wheel parts wholesaler has been doing this setup to the NEW f150's for over 3 months now and they've had no complaints. Hope this helps.

I tried to fit the BFG 35s with the daystar lift and it left very little room. I'm talking millimeters....

I was looking for a set of wheels for my 2003 and I run across some wheels for a 2004. The company that makes them is MKW their website is mkwheel.com they have a few styles that will fit.

I like the MB precise, MB vapor and MB cannon as well. The Centerline tomcat looks nice but the offset is just a little off , only 5" inches, spec is 6" or 35metric like the Centerline Crossfire's specifically for the 04 F150. Tomcats will be fine if you dont mind them sticking out a little farther and spraying water down the side of your truck everytime you go through a puddle.

I just ordered a set of Harley Haulers 20" triple chrome plated wheels. These guys actually drill the bolt pattern for the new F-150. They cost me 340.00 a wheel with custom drilling. They are 310.00 a wheel with the 5x135 bolt pattern.

Here is the link:

http://www.customwheelsmarket.com/fo...e--chrome.html

They have all sorts of rims and carry up to 22" sizes for OEM Ford rims.

Centerlines

Bill Maier, Thanks for the feedback. Missed the offset, and don't need spray on the side of the white truck after every puddle. I have the stock 235s, and would like to go to a 265. Do you know if the will stick out of the wheel well with the proper ofset? I have an XLT, and do not have the extra little fender trim that come on the Lariats, and 4X4s. Thanks Farlap

dont see a problem with that farlap, the lariat 4x2 come stock with 265's and the 4x4 with the 275's, some are running 285's on the stock wheel. 265's have the 10.4" cross section while your 235's are 9.25". They would only stick out about 1/2" more than the 235's on the same offset wheel,(split the difference 1/2" wider on the inside as well as the outside). I have a white 04 as well and the 1" offset out is too much IMO when combined with bigger tires, they would really end up sticking too far out.

Eagle and Weld Racing have wheels out for the 04. I just bought a set of Rock Cusher's for mine. 17 X 10. The 17 is the smallest wheel you can put on the 04, right now tire companies aren't making any big tires is 18's so I bought 17's.
