I hate to be the bearer of bad news but i'm 99% sure you can't put 15s on a 2000. In 97-98 the front brakes were slightly smaller and the back brakes were still drum brakes...now they are both discs and slightly larger...because of the smaller size in 97-98 you could squeeze a largely negative offseted wheel on there but i dont think you can on the 99+...i could be wrong, but a good friend of mine owns a tire shop and he says 99+ are no-go on the 15" wheels...anywayz, there might be a way though, so keep askin around...hope this helps.

I've talked to the guys at Discount Tire and Eagle Alloys. They both said the Eagle 1189's 15 x 10 will bolt on, I was asking them about putting them on my 99', I asked about grinding the calipers to, they said I would'nt have to. I have seen a 98' or 99' f150 with them , can't remember what year for sure it was last year, but the wheels still covered the rotors and it looked sweet. If I get mine in a couple weeks I'll let you know how everything turns out. Good luck!

Just my two cents, but I hope this can help someone.
When I put my body lift on in Sept of 98, I was kinda new to this F150 thing (didnt know about any of these websites at the time) so I went ahead and bought the 15x10 1189's. I didnt have to trim the calipers or any of that, but they did have a very big offset. I had 33x12.50's that people with 16, 16.5, 17" wheels fit on their trucks with no lift at all, and here with the 15" rims, they rubbed my nerf bars. So you kinda get two answers.....Yes 15" wheels will fit, but the offset makes them pretty much worthless.

A lot of the Lightning guys are using 15's now, I read a post on it earlier tonight. They said they had to grind the rear calipers on the GEN2s, and that they worked great. As far as I know, it works out fine. Search in their forum to find out more.
