I went to Sam yesterday and they have BFG A/T 265/75/16 in stock for $ 132 + installation. I think this is a good price. I don't need any tires for my truck but I don't like the one that are on my wife's Yukon XL Firestone Wilderness LE. I still got about 50% tread on these but I might just replace them with the BFGs

Cool

Once the cheap-o Pathfinder Radial ATRs on mine die their awaited death, I will replace them with the BFGs or maybe Bridgestone Dueler Revo A/Ts. Since Im mostly on highway, the Revo's arent looking bad, but they do not carry the tires at Sam's, so I have to pay whatever the Firestone/Bridgestone place carries them at (around $150 from what I've seen).

It's a toss up. BFGs = awesome all around tire, and I can get them cheap at Sam's...Revo's = best all-around tire from what I have seen...

Oh well, these Pathfinders still have a few thousand miles left on them.

new tires and wheels

I did the BFG A/T 305/70/16 on AR Atlas 16x10's. I got them at a great price because I am in the military and get stuff tax free, and they will also beat the best price of any local competitor. So if you know someone in the service....let them hook you up...I saved around 400.00. Later....

Clearman17:
I too am in the AF and you can [B]NOT[B] buy for non-military folks like that.Don't want to see you get "hooked" up.

From the AF guy

Well I don't know about that...I personally have never done it, but have seen it done plenty of times...It is like when my Grandpa, whom is a retired Marine, goes to the commisary he always takes my mom to buy groceries. He has been doing that for over 20 years. Thanks for the info. Like I said, me personally would never do it. But there are always exceptions to the rule for other people...So that is there choice.

Tires recs

Thanks for all the input....

Tire noise is not an issue with the exhaust system I have....it drowns out all road noise and gives the sound system a run for its money.

I will shop best price on the BFG's and Bridgestone Revo's.

Thanks everyone....
