How about these?

How about these?
I have FINALLY decided. Eagle Alloys series 146 (chrome) with 305/70/16 Pro Comp A/T tires.
I found them here at a local shop for about $1725 for wheels, tires, lugnuts. Wheels = $240 each, tires = $162 each.
Does that sound like a bad price?
OH yeah, I forgot to add that they have lay-away. 10% down and 10% per month until balance is paid in full. I just can't come up with that much cash to drop at once.

Oh man, there are a ton of places. First to pop in my mind is Tirerack
Just put the wheel brand you want in the search line and Im sure MORE than enough will come up.
its worth some time searching to find a good deal.
Also, look for those that offer free shipping from out of your state ~No sales tax that way

well...
I just checked www.tirerack.com. As for wheels, they only had ONE 16" wheel that fit, and it was UGLY. Tires, they had a little more of a selection (only 6). I don't want a mud tire, so that rules out 3 of them. Of the other 3, there wasn't a tread that I cared for enough to save $20 to $40 each.
I found the EXACT wheel that I want (Eagle Alloy series 146 in chrome) on another site, but it was only $5 cheaper, then I have to pay $15 each for shipping. That would save me $17 total on the set of wheels, which wouldn't really be worth it considering I can put these here in town in lay-away.
Any other suggestions on where to look? I won't be buying for another few months (maybe longer), so I have some time to shop around.
Would a 285/75/16 be the same size tire as a 305/70/16? There seem to be more tire options for the 285/75/16.
Thanks for the help!

Try www.superbuytires.com or just do a search for the wheel model you want on google...they will turn up tons of shops with wheel prices...

Maybe I am just missing something
but I have looked and looked, and have not found better deals on wheels on the internet (including the sites suggested above). The best I could find was $5 cheaper on the styles that I am looking at (Eagle Alloy 146, American Eagle 146 T, Ultra Impact), and if you figure in shipping, that wouldn't be much (if anything) of a savings.
I WAS able to find some cheaper prices on tires, only after I looked for a 285/75/16.
Am I just missing something or just a dufuss?

Try www.eaglewheels.com
They are having a sale on chrome wheels. All 16" are $176 each so you will probably save 30-40 bucks on each rim even with shipping. Just a though. Won't help the fact that the others can go on layaway.
