If I can find a friend to go, I'm in for sure... I just don't want to make a 6 hour drive solo.

How cold will it be up there? My camping gear is lacking to say the least.

mt-how many of your friends are coming and are u bringing the zuki?
msall-did you get anybody to come with you and are you coming on friday or saturday?

Hows it goin fellas ? How was everyone's weekend ? How many of you lucky @#$%& have today off ? I envy you if ya do.

Anyways, looks like I will be bringing my Zuk. Got all the stock suspension put back on, it'll be a fun little beater we can trash (more). Best part is, my buddy offered to tow it up along with his Jeep. He owns a nice 07 PSD, so he said he'll cover towing duties.
As far as how many people I am bringing ? Not too sure yet, still a lot of people who say yes... but who knows. I'd say at least 10 people and 6 or 7rigs (not counting yall) but more likely closer to 20 people or so. I will have a more accurate count at the end of this week.
As far as weather: Its hard to say, but its a safe bet its going to be COLD. There are some good elevations up there (don't worry, not camp! ) where there should be plenty of snow. It otta be cold, but I usually sleep in my truck. Just bring plenty of layers of clothes, and a couple sleepin bags or so. Sleep in the truck and turn the heater on every so often. Also, there will be a fire going anytime people are awake, and plenty of whiskey to keep ya warm from the inside out !

Ya I can snap some pics of my beater. Its been good to me. i have rolled that thing a hundred times ! Its a fun little truck. I got a SPOA kit and some other stuff I was mid- install. But I swapped it all back to a little stocker so it could make the trip. Put it this way, my dents have dents !

BRING TP ! ! TP is a great comfort ! lol Other then that, all I can think of is wood. We need as much wood as we can bring. Two of the guys are from a cabinet shop, so they will bring up a bunch, but you can never have too much. We also can stop somewhere and take a bunch of pallats if you don't have any laying around (no need to buy wood)

This is sounding awesome guys!

My boss still hasn't given me an answer on my request for time off, but it looks pretty good. I'll see if a buddy can roll with me up there... 6 hours is a long, boring drive by yourself. I'll see what I can scrounge up in wood.

Damn it man... I totally forgot those pics. Sorry about that man. Trust me, its nothin nice right now. Sitting back at stock... and beat to all hell. Picked it up for $150 a few years back. I put a reminder in my phone, this time I will be sure and snap a couple.

Definately gettin stoked. Looks like a couple guys will tow up their rigs, so we should be able to have some fun.

And like I said, no need to buy wood, just kinda scrounge around for it. Maybe some old wooden chairs ? Dressers ? Cabinets of any type ?

Tornadom: your comin up Saturday, right ?

Hey Mercedes,
I went up through cow mountain last spring with my buddy. He's got a jeep up there in Sac and we killed that place! Anyway, check out his website: http://www.4x4trailmaps.com/index.html
He's been working on mapping out different OHVA parks, and other not so well known spots. His site is still in the development stages, but it has some great maps if you want to find new places to run.

wow, appreciate that. Let him know, if he needs any help with cow or a couple other spots up here (mainly cow, know that place like the back of my hand, been going since I was a wee little lad) I am more then willing to lend some of my knowledge.

Right now, Santa Rosa 4x4 (club) is working on changin Cow up quite a bit. Expanding the obstacle course and doing sme other sweet little changes. Making it more for everyone, from rock buggies, to stocker rockers. Should be pretty sweet here fairly soon. Let me know if yall ever wonder back up here.
