Question How many cubic inches is a 5.4?

Been wondering that. I heard it was a 327, but then I heard the new Chevy 5.3's was a 327. So how many cubic inches is my 5.4? I know there is a simple way to figure it out, but I gave up math for my senior year in high school! =)

carparts.com lists it at 329, I have heard it was 330 somewhere else.

Gives you something like 5.4 * 61 = 329cid

The english system just completely baffles me! Doing the conversions will give me a serious headache.

Why not just use the metric system where you only have to shift the decimal point left or right for conversions? The rest of the world is using it. Why are we only 1/4 of the way there?

Thanks guys for your help. I guess this wasn't too easy of a question. I liked it when everyone knew that a 5.0 was a 302 and a 5.8 was a 351. Guess we'll get used to the 4.6 and 5.4 terms sometime! haha
