High Quality Stainless Gauges
I want to install some of these gauges in the engine compartment, flush with the front air deflector that covers the radiator. These are industrial grade, stainless steel, hermetically sealed, and accurate to 1%! They can take the engine compartment temperatures and engine cleanings with no problem.
I plan on connecting a 0-30 PSI gauge for the coolant tank pressure, a 0-160 PSI gauge for the oil pressure, and a 0-100 PSI for the fuel pressure. It should look pretty good with the three, 2 1/2", flush mounted gauges lined up on the right side of the air deflector.

One question...why???
Im not really seeing the point I guess. But hey, if you got the money and the will...why not right? As a cash strapped college student I can think of different things to spend the money on I guess. Just an observation.

I think tose would look pretty good as a show item. Alot of people have oil pressure and fuel pressure gauges in the engine compartment of there classic cars so they can keep an eye on things without having to cut holes in the dash.

I'm getting a good deal on the gauges, from a friend. What I really want to know is:
1. Has anyone else done an under hood gauge install?
2. I know that some NOS systems connect to the Schrader Valve on the fuel rail. Can I use that valve as the source for the fuel pressure gauge? Is there an adapter for the Schrader Valve to a 1/4" NPT fitting?
Any help would be appreciated.

We use these gauges where I work and they are high quality, accurate, noncorrosive and unaffected by vibration (liquid filled) They are made for industrail use and may not look good in a vehicle. If they came in smaller sizes they would be fine for the interior of our trucks. They are strong enough to be mounted only by the threaded line fitting.

I agree, even the smallest 2 1/2" gauges would probably be too large for mounting in the cab. But, I thought it would look OK under the hood, mounted flush, on the air deflector that covers the radiator. Hopefully I can get some pictures after the install.
