I used to own a 1999 F-250 S.D., Supercab, 4x4 with auto and 5.4L, City - 8mpg, Highway - 11mpg.

I now own a 2000 F-150, Supercab, 4x4 with auto and 5.4L, City - 12mpg, Highway - 15mpg.

If you decide to go with a SuperDuty, I have heard that the V-10 actually gets better mpg than the V-8.

Doug.

Highway 17-18

My dad has a Ranger Ext. Cab with the 4.0 but it is an automatic. He gets right around the same mileage as I do. He keeps eyeing a 250 with the V-10 so maybe he'll get it soon and I can tell you about that one as well.
