Mass Air

I have a 96 Bronco with mass air and would like to put it on my 89 Bronco with 302. Can it be removed from a newer truck or mustang, and be installed on my 89? Also what is involved with doing this mod, Computer, etc? Thanx

i know ford motorsports makes a kit to convert the 302 to mass air, but works only on manual transmissions. the only problem i see with getting the mass air from a mustang is that the 302 HO engines (found in stangs) have a different firing order than the ones in regular 302's (found in trucks). since youre gonna need the maf and computer, i dont know if thats gonna be a problem. maybe someone else can shine some light on the subject for ya, good luck!

Thanks Bjoern, I saw that post, but I didn't read enough to see where it was going. That Bigblutruck dude seems to be on the right track! Thanks again!!!
