anyone using this relatively new product please report hp & mileage gains (if any) from -- to -- mpg. thanks, am considering purchasing this item.have been unable to access their website for info.

 

I have one in box but first i'll drive my new truck stock for two weeks then I will start to install the K&N then the TB and then the Granatelli MAF and finally the superchip which should be arriving next week, this is following instructions from Mike Troyer, he advises me that due to the bigger MAF i'll probably expirience increase idling, detonation and surges and if this happens I will need my superchip custom program to compansate for these parts, sorry i can not help you now but if no one answers in this time I would be happy to update you.

I just installed the Granatelli Maf with the
K&N fipk and all went smooth, it started ok
with no idling problems, I went for a 1/2 hour ride first highway accelarating going from slow to fast using the passing gear and it responded to the touch of the pedal not pressing too hard, in city made a lot of stop and go and it responded well also, as for gas mileage increase well i will fill the tank tommorrow and see after that, as for HP I do feel a lot more pep when accelarating not like before I had to press on the gas pedal, I will continue to inform if still interested.

 

The granatelli unit is just a Pro-M unit that is remarked with a $100 extra price tag!

Matt90gt: what you're saying about Granatellis being a remarked pro-m unit then why is Summit selling it for $329.00? Alot less expensive than pro-m. Dragonboy keep on trucking & by all means give me results--from -- to -- mpg. Light foot please.

I dunno, but Matt90GT is closer to the mark than Summit. I called Summit. They actually referred me to the Pro-M phone number because the Summit rep couldn't find a part number. Pro-M quoted me $275 and $10 shipping. I called it in yesterday, and it's here already tonite. I'll throw it in over the weekend, but don't hold your breathe for mileage numbers. The truck only gets about 8000 miles a year; but I'll have HP impressions for you on Sunday.

Took delivery 29 May 2000--First Mods will be Superchip,Airaid,LineX-then alot of other stuff.

 

I installed the granitelli MAF at the same time I upgraded from 245/75r/16 to 265/75r/16 and experienced increased get up and go with about 1 mpg increase in gas mileage before compensating for increased tire size. I have experienced no increased idle, surging or other negative effects.

argh. Pro-M sent the wrong MAS. No horsepower impressions today. Gonna have to arrange a swap. Boy, Brian's annoyed.

 

I've had a granetelli in for about a month & haven't seen any improvement or downgrade of anything. Mileage stays around 15 mpg & the truck alwaws ran strong. The biggest jumps I got were from superchip & electric fan. Am considering a svo powerdyne.
