KaN from a 97 4.6 to a 2000 5.4 exp.
will a KaN fipk for a 97 4.6 fit on a 2000 exp. 5.4 . because i have a powerdyne coming and it does not use the fipk.so i will give it to my friends mom for him helping me put it on.let me know.i can call KaN but i allways forget to do stuff like that.

Not sure, my Performance Products catalog, shows different part numbers for a K&N for Expedition and Explorer. Suggest you call a parts house that stocks K&N or call K&N and ask the question. Can Always pull the one off the EXPY and see if the one from the 4.6 will fit.

If you are referring to just the drop in filter, the answer is yes. If you were thinking of a K & N Gen II, or Air Aid, I will say I do not know.

Yes as far as drop ins go. I am currently running my K&N from my 97 F150 4.6L in my 2000 F250SD 5.4L. Fits like a glove.
