my 99 f150 xlt has a broken cam gear that appears to be a press fit onto the hollow cam shaft.the dealer only shows the cam gear that has the key stock to fit in the key way of a solid bolt on cam gear.the dealer tells me that the part i need doesnt exist,but im holding the broken one in my hand.any insight on this subject would be greatly appreciated,i forgot to mention that it is a sohc w/ off road and towing package 4x4 ext cab metalic silver.thank you in advance rob

Could this be one of the differences between a Romeo and Windsor engine? I know there are quite a few differences between the two on the 4.6L. If so, maybe he's looking the wrong one up?
