That is specifically why I gave the truck's weight 'without' me in it. I didn't want one of you geniuses calculating 'my' actual tonnage.

Well... OK.... so what size rear end do you have?

BTW I got 13.9 on my second tank check with 50 miles of towing my 4200 pound camper. Still under 1K mile on the ODO.

Cool

I have been keepin track of my gas mileage ever since I got this truck. So for my best mileage I ever got on one tank was 14.6 mpg and I went 301 miles. My average is 11.5, and lately it's real hard to break the 12 mark. I'm sorry, but the only thing there is to say is learn to live with it. Who knows, I'm fixin to get a superchip and some headers so maybe that will help.

cphilip, I wasn't ignoring your question, I'm still measuring. Let's just say door cracks are a given for me.

Damn again! Them magnets don't work?!! Shoot, I got my hopes up for nothing. I'm about as gullable as a two-year old. Maybe it's a good thing I'm so lazy that I didn't run out and buy one yet. But, at $13 a pop, I'm still thinking if it's not worth trying. Heck, at 5500lbs, I don't expect Honda gas mileage, but at 5500lbs, almost anything is worth trying. Right??

20 miles to the gallon with 2 magnets... Yep thats right..Have two magnets installed on my super cab 5.4.. best investment I've made .................Well not really. I average 16mpg with my current set up. Thats about 1.5 to 2 mpg less than what I was getting before any mods. Performance has gone up but mpg did go down. Even trade considering the amout of rubber my truck can now lay-down...and NO MAGNETS! Capt.

TWO magnets???!!! Had me going there for a second, Capt. Your mileage went down with the mods, too? So did mine. How's that? Aren't the K&N, Superchip, and exhaust all supposed to increase efficiency? Except for an occasional torque and HP binge, I'm pretty light on the pedal. Not that I'm really moaning about the mileage, because I like the power. But, I can't understand why mileage went down. Any clues?
