I think its time...

So, my plugs were changed out in February 2010 at 80, 197 miles...
The dealer put in SP-507's...

Question is...should I track down the 507's or go to my local auto parts store and get SP-515's? The only place I am seeing 507's is on Amazon...which is where I will probably get the lisle tool...

Not sure what the difference is between the two...

I am at about 93K on these plugs...

Thanks in advance!

Get 515's. Those are the current recommendation.

Thank you for the input!

I'm trying to nurse this truck along! Never thought I would see this mileage on this truck...

And being that the plugs have already been changed you are probably going to luck out with this change out. Go with the SP-515s! Also consider new springs and boots for your COPs, and use dielectric grease.

Well, I bit the bullet....

Changed the plugs saturday/sunday...no broken plugs...

I don't think the dealer followed the TSB when they replaced the plugs 94K ago...there was no anti-sieze on the shanks...The plugs were in tight! Warm engine was the key to removal on this one...

I did put it on...$30 for a 1lb bottle of Lock Tite Nickel anti sieze...now I have enough for about 10k plugs...

Took the truck on a 400 mile test drive from about sea level through 7,000 feet, 70 degrees down to 32 degrees...truck seems to be running good...better than before? IDK?

Thank you all for the advice! I didn't have the Lisle tool on hand...I got lucky!
