i changed to cam position sensor on the passenger side and found how to check the camshaft timing soleniod which both are fine and the PLUGS ARE MOTORCRAFT

Not the camshaft timing solenoid I mean the physical camshaft timing marks for both cams is exact along with crankshaft

yea...well i just talked to a friend of mine who has worked on these motors and he is saying that its definetly a cam phaser i guess the springs on them wear out which is causing the missfiring and running lean.........i got my work cut out for me ......and is it worth while im in there to upgrade cams? or is that opening a can of worms haha

Changing cams is a lot more work but could be worth it

The OEM cam is optimized for low end torque, and high end HP with the variable valve timing.

ok so i sucessfully changed everything! timing chains phasers guides tensioners so it sounds great at idle now...so as i got driving on the test run 2day it started to misfire under a load up a hill.....misfire on cylinder 8 so i swapped 8and 1 and still misfire on eight.....please no.... not the plugs again haha i just changed them at 120k and now im at 155k .....PS what a B!tch.......

oh and the phaser i am guessing was bad cus the chain guide was destroyed passenger side
