05 fx4 5.4

I am having trouble with my truck, she wont start. I thought it was the starter changed it out and still nothing. When I turn the key you hear it trying to turn over and it doesnt do anything. Any help with this would be really appreciated, I cant think where to begin to look next.
Thanks
Jim

Check the "fuel pump driver module"

Located in front of the spare tire on the frame cross member.....link>>> https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...placement.html

88racing,
Thanks for that info, i came home from work and crawled under the truck and saw that the module was ****ty looking, pulled the plug off and checked the contacts they were fine. I did notice that when I plugged it back it it clicked and when I pulled it off it came off easily, no click. I immediately grabbed my keys and she started right up! My local ford dealer has the part in stock $150, Ill be picking this part up and changing it out soon.
Thanks Again!

Don't pay that much for it, I think you can find a Dorman replacement for about 60 bucks.

I just bought one for mine and it came to $62.00 with shipping.

I lowered my spare tire a few days ago and the FPDM had rotted off the mounting tabs and was hanging by the connector, so as you can imagine the whole thing is in bad shape. It's never acted up on me though after I've washed it or when driving in the rain which is why I never bothered to check it before. I'm glad I did now.
