Haynes is certainly better than Chiltons. But,if you want top of the line look at the real shop manuals from www.helminc.com.$160 for the set.

Thanks for the info. To start with, I think I'll try Haynes. I called my local parts store and they have the Haynes manual for my truck for $12.88. The price makes me wonder if it has more than a dozen or so pages.
I have a strong feeling I'll end up getting the manual set you recommeded.
