Exactly. Its related to the engine repair. I have to wonder if he reset the timing right. He can be a tooth off and you will get a drivability concern....A HDR wheel installed backwards can give you a miss under acceleration but there is sometimes a slight tick noise behind the front cover as well. It should eventually throw a code if there is a miss. I think its a low level miss causing the streering wheel to vibrate, either a bad coil or the timing is off. jmo

Yeah, I thought about that. But just vibration in steering wheel.

whatever the problem,,, sounds like the place that did that major engine work should be figuring it out for you.

If i was a CV joint, I would think you would hear/ feel it while turning.
Which I don't.

I took it back ( Ford dealer) and they are usless as crap!
They found "nothing"
And if it had to do with work done, what the hell would it be?
It only happens at 1100 RPMs in overdrive underload..

Thanks

Could be. But it ONLY does it at 1100 RPMs underload, in overdrive.
It's crazy....It bothers the hell out of me.
I'm one of those people that any little thing beyond "normal" kills me!
I would give up my sons if I could only figure it out..LOL!
I have no more warranty, so if I tell dealer it happened right after they worked on it
they would look into it, not find anything, and charge me
$1000
I'll check out what you mentioned. It's worth a shot..

Thank you..

Why did you have to have the cam and chain replaced in the first place? Don't spend a grand on my guestimate. I see its been 6 months since the repair, should have had a code by now... if its not a miss then you may have something loose. Does it only vibrate when in 4 wheel drive or in 2 wheel also? Just seems odd that this started right after the engine work was done. Like someone else mentioned let the guy that performed the engine work find the problem you shouldn't have to pay unless what he finds it is not related to the engine work...

Do a compression test of each cylinder.
